The three Bronte sisters, painted by Jilli Roberts of the Deepings Dolls. Each of them is pictured with one of their books (you have to click on the pics to see the full image, the book is against the hem of each skirt).
Emily is my favourite, I confess, because I am crazy about Wuthering Heights, but I wonder if I have been unfair to Charlotte over the years. I wasn’t a fan of Jane Eyre, but haven’t tried her other novels, and I really think I should.
